Reminder and expiration date

Managing your reminders and expiration dates is a central point of the Addmin solution. It's about making sure you're always up to date on your important documents and, most importantly, being able to be automatically notified so you don't miss any deadlines. Ever again.

Addmin considers a reminder as a short-term deadline as invoices, documents to be returned, signed or to be followed. Addmin considers an expiration date as a deadline in the medium and long term such as insurance policies, purchase guarantees, or various contracts that you wish to follow.

The notification preferences allows you to set different automatic notifications for reminders and expiration dates respectively. In this context, we recommend :

  1. Reminders: Notifications between 3 and 5 days in advance
  2. Expiration dates: Notifications between 30 and 60 days in advance

Set a reminder

  1. Go to the document processing page
  2. Click on Set Reminder
  3. Determine reminder type and deadline.
🔔 Note: Your reminder is now set and you can track all reminders in your pending tasks list. The document corresponding to a reminder date will appear immediately in this list and you will be notified according to the notification period set in your notification preferences.

Set an expiration date

  1. Go to the document processing page
  2. Choose Expiration Date
  3. Determine the date corresponding to the expiry date.

🔔 Note: Your reminder is then set and you can track all expiration dates in your pending tasks list. The document corresponding to an expiration date will appear in this list 1 month before the notification deadline set in your notification preferences. You can also find a document with an expiration date at any time via the advanced search.
